CLF Phase/Subject Networks

We believe that high quality networking and collaboration opportunities are a key lever for improving provision for our students.  We provide a range of opportunities for this, allowing colleagues to work together in CLF wide communities.

Every term, there are Primary and Secondary specific events as part of directed time: PAC (Primary and Secondary Collaboration) and FNN (Federation Network Nights). These allow for subject and phase specific development and are facilitated by a range of academy middle and senior leaders and also our SLEs (Specialist Leaders in Education) through a centrally generated improvement agenda. For example, at certain times of the year the focus will be on the teaching and learning needed for a specific aspect of the curriculum in response to assessment outcomes whilst at other times might involve designing aspects of the curriculum or moderating student work ready for external verification.
